The CASH project has recently released the first three videos in our virtual field day series, Ears to the Ground, on eOrganic’s YouTube channel. Our first videos take a closer look at some of the soil tests available to assess nitrogen availability and soil biological activity and their applicability to organic farms.

We met with collaborating farmers in Illinois and Indiana in early February to share results of our first 2 seasons of strip trials and discussion cultivars available for strip trials in 2020.
We hosted a discussion bringing together members of our advisory board, academics, breeders, and farmers to identify future opportunities for organic corn and major obstacles to realizing these opportunities at ASTA’s CSS & Seed Expo in Chicago on December 11, 2019.
